MED members Gary Steele and Harold Meerwaldt published a paper in Nature Communications titled Large spin-orbit coupling in carbon nanotubes in collaboration with people from the Quantum Transport group.

Andres Castellanos-Gomez  received a Marie Curie Intra European Fellowship. He will start the project at the beginning of 2013.
